The nonlinear flutter analysis shows that the most important modes contributing to the flutter are the first vertical bending mode, the first
chordwise bending mode, and the first torsion mode, whose frequencies drop by 23.6%, 22.6%, and 9.6%, respectively.
In the trailing edge region, the outer layer of the sheet material would be solid for aerodynamic and fabrication reasons and then cooled via
chordwise channels located in the inner layer of the skin.
Both propeller blades exhibited
chordwise scratches.
To address this, Cirrus extended the wing panels
chordwise back from the leading edge, providing more active fluid flow area.
They both exhibited S-shaped bending, leading edge damage and
chordwise scratching consistent with engine power being produced at impact.
The influences of different parameters and coupling between
chordwise and flapwise bending modes on the natural frequency were investigated.

Moving aft
chordwise or as the wing reaches progressively higher angles of attack, the boundary layer begins to separate from the wing surface.
The propeller did not exhibit
chordwise abrasions or leading edge nicks consistent with rotation.
This study investigated the effect of blade root chord length and blade taper (i.e., in both the
chordwise and lengthwise directions simultaneously) on the control effort of the FCS of a helicopter, as well as on the closed-loop responses, is investigated.
