In this model, compressor map data is interpolated or extrapolated to determine air flow and shaft power from turbo speed and compressor pressure ratio
inputs for each time step .
The maximum or peak compressor pressure ratio
thus defines the stability limit.
The simulation tool was able to predict on an hourly basis the variation of parameters like the compressor pressure ratio
[beta], the GT inlet flow and the normalized GT free spool rotational speed influencing the hybrid GT behavior (Figure 2--continuous lines refer to the pure fossil reference GT model).

The pressure ratio scales almost linearly with speed so that the higher speed translates into a compressor pressure ratio
