cybersex

An erotic communication between two people online via text, audio or video chat. The earliest cybersex was text-based in chat rooms, and role playing was common since nobody saw the other party; for example, a 50-year-old man could pretend to be an 18-year-old woman. However, with the advent of Skype and other video calling applications, cybersex has become more visual, and hiding one's identity is not an option. Sending explicit nude pictures of oneself is also cybersex (see sexting).

Cybersex in Games
Cybersex can be a part of multiplayer, online games. Using an avatar, people communicate with each other erotically, and there are games that specialize in cybersex role playing. See teledildonics and parental control software.
