deviation indicator

deviation indicator

deviation indicator
An indicator that indicates the direction toward which the aircraft is required to be flown to maintain the required radial. It contains two lines—one horizontal and the other vertical—and the point of intersection of these lines represents the aircraft's position. With VOR (very high frequency omnidirectional radio-range), only the vertical (left/right) pointer is used. An on/off flag comes into operation if there is any fault in the signal supply or if the difference between the omni-bearing indication and the correct omni bearing is significantly more than 10°.

It differs from the current $6180 Evolution 1000 Pilot model mainly because it has a VDI (vertical deviation indicator) and LDI (lateral deviation indicator) navigation display for flying approaches.
Pilots must use a lateral deviation indicator (or equivalent moving map display), and either an autopilot or flight director.
The most appropriate deviation indicator is the probability of sediment yield various quantities.
Using this uncertainty value a weighting factor [w.sub.ik](j) is then computed for each k coordinate of each ith point, thus obtaining an overall deviation indicator [d.sub.j] to be minimized instead of s in order to get an estimate of the matrix H.
Both pilots noticed that the pilot's attitude deviation indicator was reading 20 degrees nose down and in the inverted position, but the co-pilot's and stand-by attitude indicators indicated 20 degrees nose up and wings level.
The 249 series has a solid-state LED deviation indicator. Also portable controls, hand-held indicators, scr power controllers, solid-state relays and mercury displacement contactors available.
cross-track deviation, way point alert, analog cross track deviation indicator, actual time and route to next way point, estimated time of arrival (ETA) to next way point and ETA to final way point" symbology will be included on the HUD, the source added.
Rule #2: If you're off course on a localizer or a localizer back course approach, and you're on the side of the localizer feather on the chart that has the shading or other differentiation, the course deviation indicator (CDI) will swing to the left.
The daily VaR for the entire currency portfolio is computed using a formula similar to the one of risk for a portfolio, the difference being the fact that this time the average square deviation indicator ([sigma]) is substituted through the VaR indicator.
When the airplane was about 0.5 nm inside the outer marker on the first approach, the compass warning flag on the captain's course deviation indicator appeared, showing that the heading display was unreliable.
The 249 Series is low-cost and has a solid-state LED deviation indicator. In addition, portable controls, hand-held indicators, scr power controllers, solid-state relays and mercury displacement contactors are available.
