digital age

The era we live in today. Although computers began to penetrate the business world in the 1960s and 1970s, personal computers in the 1980s combined with the Internet in the 1990s dramatically increased the presence of digital devices. In the 2010s, a revolution occurred with smartphones, placing a full-fledged computing device into nearly everyone's pocket. See digital.
