I didn't specify a method for this process, but I did note that five dynamic levels were used--mf, mp, p, pp, and ppp--and that these appear both alone (indicating a steady dynamic) and in pairs linked by crescendi or diminuendi.
I don't need statistical analysis to tell me that my first guess was wrong; it's obvious that each of the steady dynamics occurs much more often than any of the crescendi or diminuendi.
Moreover, the internal distribution of diminuendi seems very highly skewed, ranging from twenty-six occurrences of mf-mp to four occurrences of mf-pp.
