A maneuver in which an aircraft after in-flight refueling dives to supersonic speed followed by accelerating the climb back to operating altitude.

This is not some deus ex machina "the butler did it" ending: it's more of a dipsydoodle: the re-presentation of evidence, the juxtaposition of previous images in a decidedly focused montage, we re-see what we thought we saw, and yowza, we're seeing something new in something we thought we'd seen.
