Of undoubted scientific and practical interest are the electrophysical problems associated with the design determination of the active resistance Rce and the maximum temperature [T.sub.me] of the pulse arc electric discharge channel
between the metallic (graphite) electrodes of the air DES in the high-current discharge circuit of the high-power high-voltage power testing unit of the electrical testing apparatus.
We assume that the heat flux density [g.sub.c](t) and the density [[delta].sub.d](t) of the discharge current [i.sub.d](t) of the HVES with CSE in the cylindrical spark discharge channel
for the investigated HVCAS are practically uniformly distributed over its transverse circular cross section with a time-varying in t radius [r.sub.c].
2) due to the instability of the plasma lightning discharge channel
with a longitudinal shock because it arises in the pinch effect, leading to its transverse <<waist>> and education channel of sausage type;
