disk duplexing

A variation on disk mirroring where, as well as redundant disk drives, a second disk controller or host adapter is also present.

disk duplexing

The recording of redundant data for fault tolerant operation. Data are written on two separate disks within the same system. Each disk drive is connected to its own controller. See disk mirroring and RAID.
