In our case, 5 (19.2%) patients were referred to the dermatology polyclinics due to atopic dermatitis, diaper dermatitis, urticaria and
dyshidrotic eczema, xerosis, and ichthyosis vulgaris.
Methods: 50 patients of suspected and provisionally diagnosed as having
dyshidrotic eczema were subjected to patch test with Indian Standard Battery developed by Contact and Occupational Dermatoses Forum of India (CODFI).

Dyshidrotic eczema. This disease is characterized by the sudden onset of pruritic, clear vesicles on the fingers, palms, and soles.
The symptoms were diagnosed erroneously as
dyshidrotic eczema, and treatment with topical corticosteroids was unsuccessful.
