Access to the tournament at the County Limerick course on July 5 and 6 next year is through the purchase of an '
entrance cap', at a cost of EUR50, examples of which were donned yesterday by stars from the worlds of football, rugby, racing and hurling, among others.
A spokesman said: "With just over four weeks to go to the tournament, the excitement is building and to date, 24,600
entrance caps have been sold with only 5,400 remaining.
