expected approach time (EAT)
The time at which it is expected that an arriving aircraft will be cleared to commence approach for a landing (ICAO). It is the time at which an aircraft, following a delay, will leave the holding point to complete its approach for a landing. The actual time of leaving the holding point will depend upon the approach clearance.
