The solution of ferrous chloride
(FeCl2) thus obtained was filtered.

may be deposited on the steel reinforcement.

To study the influence of the chemical form and the concentration of iron on the dielectric properties of milk, two iron sources were selected: ferrous gluconate and ferrous chloride
, both analytically pure, and they were purchased from chemical reagents of national pharmaceutical group of China.

Industrially, ferric chloride is much more important than ferrous chloride

, hydrochloric acid, potassium chloride, glacial acetic acid, disodium hydrogen phosphate, and dihydrogen potassium phosphate were all BDH general purpose chemicals and distilled prior to use.
The chemicals (analytical grade) linoleic acid, DMPO (5, 5-dimethyl-1- pyrroline-Noxide), DPPH (1, 1- diphenyl-2 picrylhydrazyl), Ferrous Chloride
, hydrogen peroxide, Ammonium Thiocyanate, Ferric Chloride, and potassium ferricyanide etc., were purchased from Syscon chemicals, Chennai, India.
