filler valve

filler valve

A valve in the aircraft oxygen system through which oxygen from storage bottles is put into the system. The valve restricts the flow of oxygen and does not permit the system to be filled too quickly. If the oxygen is supplied too quickly, there is a likelihood of the system's overheating and exploding.
