In a relevant development on Saturday, the Iraqi volunteer forces (Hashd al-Shaabi) announced that the people have exploded the ISIL's tallest flag tower
in the center of al-Sharqat region in Northern Salahuddin province as anti-ISIL attacks have increased in recent weeks.
The report, leaked to two former members of the cathedral's choir Matthew Mudge and Adam Poole, said: "You must as a matter of urgency carry out a review of the unstable masonry to the Flag Tower
and Clerestory and have suitable repairs carried out."
Addressing the foundation stone laying ceremony of a high altitude national flag tower
here at historical Jinnah Park, he said that the party believes in national cause for which its members have rendered huge sacrifices and faced imprisonments.
Access could also be created to the roof of the Flag Tower
with a pedestrian link across to the Half Moon Tower.
Near the entrance to the site, a flag towers
over the giant concrete blocks -- dozens of which were placed on the eastern portion of the site by the Public Works Ministry in 2012.
