Since the flash hider
sticks out past the front sight housing less than two inches, what kind of bayonet would you expect to be able to mount?

over the compensator.
Instead of an A2-style flash hider
, the barrel on the MPR is tipped with a radially ported muzzle brake of Ruger's own design.
It's offered in 5.56mm and .300 Blackout with a lightweight chrome-moly barrel with Melonite finish and an AAC 51T flash hider
. The 5.56 has a 1:8-inch twist, and the .300 has a quick 1:7-inch twist, so both should be great with heavier bullets.
