Automatic Flow-Control Valve. Automatic flow-control valves regulate the flow of fluid, such as water, to a design value.
Above the connection point is a "Power-Cincher" pneumatically actuated flow-control valve that cinches the bag spout concentrically, allowing retying of partially empty bags with no dusting.

Units have slide-gate dispensing valves, motor-driven mixers that can be set for continuous or timed operation, and a material flow-control valve under the mixing hopper.
The oil-return line includes a temperature gauge and fixed-orifice flow-control valve. The vacuum line has a shutoff valve, check valve, and gauge.
Also new is a flow meter and flow-control valve for the water-cooling jacket on the feed throat.
It can operate in two different modes: controlling the output of the variable-volume pump and the switching of the fixed-volume pumps; or in a throttle mode where the analog output is applied to a pressure- or flow-control valve while also selecting fixed pumps.
He covers hydraulic safety, hydraulic and fluid power principles, pumps, rotary actuators, cylinders, flow-control valves, contamination control, filtration, fluids, reservoirs and coolers, plumbing, and many other related subjects over the bookAEs twenty-five chapters.
