MRI of the pelvis showed two fibroids, both hypointense on T2-w images; the largest one (diameter 7.3 cm; volume 164.07 cc) was intramural, involving the right side of the fundus of the uterus and the other one was a very small (diameter 2.5 cm; volume 5.73 cc) intracavitary submucosal fibroid (white arrow in Figure 5(a)).
