Phut

(fŭt), in the Bible, son of Ham and eponym of an African people. It may also be a region, possibly Punt or Libya, and is perhaps the same as PulPul
, in the Old Testament. 1 Assyrian king, invader of Israel, known as Tiglathpileser III. 2 African region. Probably the same as Phut or Punt.
