gun/weapon fire area class B

gun/weapon fire area class B

An airspace of defined dimensions in which certain restrictions are placed both on aircraft and surface-to-air weapons. Friendly aircraft may enter this area with permission, and surface weapons may open fire only after obtaining clearance, if they observe the aircraft committing a hostile act, or after positively identifying it as a hostile aircraft.
