Y chromosome

The sex chromosome found only in the heterogametic male sex, as in mammals and Drosophila.

Holandric. Spermathecae paired in 5/6-8/9, large and triangular with simple diverticulum, duct shorter than ampulla, which is triangular.

The arrangement of the spermathecal pores and setae for proandric species and holandric Geogenia species are presented in Table 1 and Table 2 respectively.
Considering this species' holandric condition, the presence of spermathecae in both testicular segments (10 and 11), and also the numerous spermathecae posterior to testes in segments 12, 13, 14, 15, and the regular arrangement of setae, no similarity to the species accredited to lesothoensis species-group has been found.
