iPhone 12

The latest line of iPhones introduced in 2020. All models have 5G support and feature an OLED display. Using Apple's latest A14 chip, the iPhone 12 uses a new metal frame that makes models thinner and lighter than the iPhone 11 without a change in screen size. In conjunction with Corning and branded as "Ceramic Shield," ceramic crystals embedded in the glass make the screens more durable.

For the first time, earbuds and charger are no longer included and must be purchased separately. The reasoning is that most people already have these accessories from previous phones. All models support Apple's MagSafe wireless charging system as well as Qi. See MagSafe, Qi wireless charging and Apple A series.

5.4" 12 mini and 6.1" 12
The iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 are the smaller models with up to 256GB of storage. See iPhone and iPhone versions.

6.1" Pro and 6.7" Pro Max
Both top models include a telephoto lens and better cameras than the 12 and 12 mini, and double the maximum storage to 512GB. Pro models include a LIDAR sensor that improves mapping the depth of the image for better photos. See LIDAR.
