iPhone 5CAn entry-level iPhone 5 smartphone, introduced in September 2013 along with the 5s. The 5c featured iOS 7, a completely redesigned OS for the first time since the iPhone's debut in 2007 (see iOS versions). Available in a pink, green, blue, white or yellow plastic case, the 5c was on par with the iPhone 5; for example, it used the same A6 chip. The 5c included new features such as a larger battery, improved FaceTime camera and a panorama photo mode. Offered with 16GB or 32GB storage, the 5c used the traditional iPhone home button and not the Touch ID fingerprint reader in the 5s. It also used a Nano SIM card, rather than the Micro SIM in previous iPhones. See iPhone 5s.
