The Izod impact strength of notched specimens was measured on a falling hammer type Ceast Impactometer
following the ASTM D256 test method (24).
Impact resistance tests were made according to ASTM D256 (hod-notched) in an Atlas CS-137C impactometer
with sample dimensions of 64 x 12.7 X 12.7 mm.
Izod impact strength for the specimens of dimensions 63.5 mm x 12.7 mm x 3 mm was determined as per ASTM D-256, with "V" notch depth of 2.54 mm and notch angle of 45[degrees], using impactometer
6545 (CEAST, Italy).
