The materials with an
impurity band supported by specific atoms injected into a sample play important role in experimental physics and technology.
The defects of [S.sub.1] and [V.sub.Cu] play a dominant role in the [Cu.sub.2]Sn[S.sub.3] thin films and may form
impurity band in the forbidden band.
The transition from trap to trap is made possible only if the destination site is vacant; the hop itself does not involve the concept of band energy, with the exception of
impurity band conduction [2].
The company has developed blocked
impurity band (Bib) detectors that are better at VLWlR, but notes that spectral response is not easily tailored to the needs of a two-colour FPA.
This indicated an ineffective
impurity band that was introduced by Er dopping [16].
In fact, for Ti[O.sub.2] semiconductor thin films having broad energy gap about 3.0 eV, the contribution of
impurity band conduction may become significant [22].
ZnS (N, III) creates a fully unoccupied
impurity band above the VBM.
The main reason for this is related to the competition between various types of hopping conductivity, mechanisms of weak localization, percolation and metallic and/or
impurity bands (Hubbard bands) conductivity.
In the spin-down states, the
impurity bands introduced by Al-doped occupy the energy level at the bottom of the conduction band (CBM) minimum, which shows that Al-doped ZnONSs can lead ZnO to an n-type semiconductor.
With the insertion of C's,
impurity bands can be produced within the PBG of the original PC, air/[(AB).sup.N] A/air.
The sample KBr pellet was run against the spectrum of a blank KBr pellet to cancel the
impurity bands. The absorbance spectra were acquired over the range of 400 [cm.sup.-1] - 4000 [cm.sup.-1] using a DTGS detector and KBr beam splitter, with a resolution of 2 [cm.sup.-1].
KBr sample pellets were run versus a blank KBr pellet in the reference beam to cancel KBr
impurity bands, mainly [H.sub.2]O bands.
