According to Abu Hindi, the ministry managed to extend 1100m of main and sub- connections, constructed 57 inspection chambers
and connected 31 houses to the network.
So far, 600 metre long main and sub-connections have been extended, and 19 inspection chambers
have been constructed, in addition to connecting two houses to the network.
Work comprises of extending 670m long main connections, 860m long sub-connections, and constructing 106 inspection chambers
. The project is expected to complete by the end of this year.
The project comprises of extending 5km long main connections, 3.3km long sub-connections, constructing 813 inspection chambers
and connecting 400 houses and real estates to the network in Block 733 and part of Block 743.
According to Murad, the project comprises of diverging the conveyance line of Hidd 109 sewerage network, extending 348m long main lines, constructing 6 inspection chambers
for both the main and sub-connections and removing the old station serving residents of Block 109 in Hidd.

Manama, June 8 (BNA): The Sanitary Engineering Assistant Undersecretary at the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning, Asma Murad, said the Ministry has achieved 77% progress in the implementation of a sewerage network in Karana Block 460, where 80km long main connections and 50km long sub-connections have been extended, in addition to constructing 11 inspection chambers
Murad explained that the project comprises of extending 1.12km of main connections, constructing 36 inspection chambers
, 56 storm water collection points and 12 storm water collection tanks.
She explained that the project consists in extending 1300m of main and sub-connections, constructing 50 inspection chambers
for both the main and sub-connections and connecting 52 houses and land pieces to the network.
