Two former CondA(c) Nast interns--Matthew Leib, who interned
at The New Yorker in 2009 and 2010, and Lauren Ballinger, who worked for W Magazine in 2009--sued CondA(c) Nast on Thursday in a Manhattan district court, with the now-classic argument that the publisher's intern program violates Department of Labor guidelines by not paying its interns minimum wage.
DES said that since 1993, more than 120 UNH students have interned
at 70 companies in the state, which have reported combined cost savings of more than $5 million through the program.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, she interned
at Martha Turner Properties and Jones Lang LaSalle.
