isoclinic line

(geophysics)
A line connecting points on the earth's surface which have the same magnetic dip. Also known as isoclinal.
(solid-state physics)
A line joining points in a plate at which the principal stresses have parallel directions.

Lines on a map or a chart joining points of equal magnetic dip. Isoclinic lines run more-or-less parallel to lines of latitudes.
