lead-in light facility (LDIN)
A facility in the terminal area navigation system providing special light guidance to aircraft in approach pattern or landing procedures. A facility configuration consists of any number of flashers located to visually guide an aircraft through the approach corridor, bypassing high-density residential, commercial, or obstruction areas.
