limited combustible material

A building construction material which does not comply with the NFPA definition of noncombustible material. The materials in this classification must not exceed a potential heat value of 3500 Btu per pound (8141 kJ/kg); in addition, they must comply with at least at least one other applicable requirements of the applicable NFPA standard.
