The overlap between successive prints for stereoscopic viewing. Cameras are adjusted to operate in relation to the ground speed of the aircraft so that each exposure overlaps the previous one by approximately 60%. This 60% forward overlap between prints provides a 20% overlap between alternate prints in a run. Also known as longitudinal overlap or overlap
