LOT sample size = 19, Decision value = 3) Lot No.
The minimum
lot sample size = revised total sample sizenumber of lots = 310 / 22 = 14.09.
However, it is clear from the volume of material that needs testing that most of the propellant
lot samples cannot be treated as priority propellants.
Because LQAS is based on stratified random sampling, results from
lot samples can be combined to obtain a point estimate for the entire population, allowing for a small sample size.
