Thirty-eight per cent had normal findings on examination, 34.5% had dysmorphic features, 6.9% were microcephalic and 12.1% were macrocephalic. Complex autism (microcephaly and/or dysmorphism) generally associated with abnormal morphogenesis was therefore present in about 40%.
