magnetic pole strength[mag′ned·ik ′pōl ‚streŋkth]
The magnitude of a (fictional) magnetic pole, equal to the force exerted on the pole divided by the magnetic induction (or, alternatively, by the magnetic field strength). Also known as pole strength.
