The primary list of options available to the user at the computer. The main menu is the starting point; for example, in Windows, the Start menu is the main menu. In the Mac, both the Apple menu and the Finder menu serve as the main menu. Each application also has a main menu that appears as a row of options in a title bar. See menu and home page.
