Marsupialization was done in 4 (10.52%) patients, while 24 (63.12%) patients were treated with enucleation.
(16) Endoscopic
marsupialization of the mucocele was performed in patients with symptoms or, in asymptomatic patients, if erosion of the orbital walls or skull base was found on imaging.

Marsupialization," Korean J Otorhino-laryngol-Head Neck Surg 2012; 55(1): 453-57.
We decided to avoid both
marsupialization that is often planned for larger lesions [15] and conventional lancet surgical approach, with the consequent risk of bleeding and potential difficulty in wound healing [1].
Procedure options are transperineal or transrectal aspiration, endoscopic section of the utricle meatus and transurethral
marsupialization, and open surgery.
In this situation, doing an enteroenterostomy or
marsupialization with the duplicate being left in place to avoid resecting too much of normal bowel is advised [13-15].
Other treatment options are
marsupialization, and enucleation with allogeneic or xenogeneic bone grafting.4
(1) Submandibular calculi located close to the orifice of the Wharton duct can be removed by
marsupialization. This is considered as the best surgical option whenever the calculus can be removed intraorally.
At present, many treatments are available for KCOTs, such as enucleation, curettage, cryosurgery, resection,
marsupialization and decompression.
The surgical techniques used include penile transaction with urethral fistulation (Hussain and Moulvi, 1986), pelvic urethrostomy (Ravi Kumar and Shridhar, 2003), percutaneous tube cystotomy (Streeter et al., 2002) and bladder
marsupialization (May et al., 1998).
We performed a 1-2 cm incision just about the bulged point of the masses, excised masses from adjacent tissue and totally removed both masses and did
marsupialization. Grossly, the specimen consisted of well-delineated creamy grayish mass with elastic consistency measuring 4x3x2.5 cm and 4.5x1.7x1.7 cm (figure 1).
