A differential filter structure for a multimachine power system is to be synthesized that covers the interplant/local mode of oscillation
(frequency range of 0.7 Hz to 2.0 Hz) and interarea mode of oscillation
(frequency range of 0.1 Hz to 0.7 Hz respectively.
Each mode of oscillation
has a special feature of this phenomenon under study and one observes, in a quantitative sense, how much mass is displaced.
