Diffractions peaks at 12.76[degrees] (related to CHN) and 21.6[degrees] (related to
myristic acid) were found in the XRD pattern of CHN(myristate) indirect.
This relationship was seen in meat during this study, where concentrations of the PUFAs linoleic acid, [gamma]-linolenic acid, and dihomo-[gamma]-linolenic acid increased with the use of ractopamine, while concentrations of the SFAs lauric acid,
myristic acid, and palmitic acid decreased.
pallida contain 2-methoxy-4-vinylphenol, benzophenone, squalene,
myristic acid, and some saturated hydrocarbons.
Fatty acid detected: C14:0,
myristic acid; C16:0, palmitic acid; C18:1n-9, oleic acid; C18:2n-6, linoleic acid; C18:3n-3, linolenic acid.
During the post-fermentation stage, treatments with and without starter culture (addition of 50 ppm NaN[O.sub.2]) generated the highest concentration of SFA
myristic acid and MUFA palmitoleic acid.
A possible explanation for the increase in HDL-C observed in our study may be due to the high proportion of lauric acid and
myristic acid in the VCO product used.
Atul Sharma et al [9] has studied about the development of phase change materials for low temperature energy storage applications using binary mixtures of commercial grade acids such as Lauric acid (LA),
Myristic acid (MA), Stearic acid (SA) and Palmitic acid (PA).
Also, the values (%) of these fatty acids in degummed oil are
myristic acid (0.30), palmitic acid (12.40), stearic acid (1.65), arachidic acid (1.70), behenic acid (0.46), palmitoleic acid (0.17), oleic acid (47.86), linoleic acid (27.36) and linolenic acid (0.01), respectively.
Among the analyzed SFA, lauric acid (C12:0) had an average of 0.12 g 100 [g.sup.-1] and
myristic acid (C14:0) with 3.48 g 100 [g.sup.-1] between treatments.
Among the other substances positively identified in the study were nicotine,
myristic acid and isopropyl myristate, cocaine, cinnamaldehyde, vanillin, quinolene and butyl quinone, borneol and other forms of camphor, pyrene, phenol, toluene and naphthalene.
Butter and coconut oil are both high in two saturated fats:
myristic acid and lauric acid.
