negative nodal points[′neg·əd·iv ′nōd·əl ‚pȯins]
Two points on the axis of an optical system such that an incident ray passing through one results in an emergent ray passing through the other which makes an angle with the axis having the same magnitude but opposite sign. Also known as antinodal points.
