We are limited to evaluating the effects of parity using cross-sectional variation between parity and non-parity states, and are therefore identifying not causation, but only whether or not any correlation exists between parity and utilization.
and a leading manufacturer of quality memory products for notebooks, desktops, servers, and workstations today announced the new release of a family of 168-pin ECC Buffered, ECC Unbuffered, and Non-parity Unbuffered EDO 3.
It features hardware RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 0/1, 0/5, an embedded 68040/40MHz CPU, support for up to 64MB of hardware cache using DPT's exclusive SmartCorrect(tm) ECC SIMMs or industry standard parity or non-parity 72-pin SIMMs, support for data throughput up to 40MB/s, flash ROM for easy firmware upgrades, and support for up to fifteen devices per channel.
Like the rest of the SmartCache IV family of host adapters, the PM2044U is based on DPT's exclusive "grow-as-you-go" architecture which provides a logical upgrade path to hardware caching and RAID via DPT's optional RAID and caching module (up to 64MB of cache) using DPT's exclusive SmartCorrect(tm) ECC SIMMs or industry standard parity or non-parity 72-pin SIMMs.
The new IBM PC 300 comes with either 16MB or 32MB of parity or non-parity memory installed and is upgradeable to 128MB.
