nvSRAM
(Non-Volatile SRAM) Static RAM (SRAM) memory that is backed up to non-volatile memory in the event of a power failure. nvSRAM uses regular SRAM for reading and writing data. When power is lost, capacitors have enough charge to transfer the contents of SRAM cells to non-volatile flash memory. Cypress Semiconductor makes a variety of nvSRAM memory products.
