ohnosecond

(unit, humour)
(Presumably a play on "nanosecond") The miniscule time it takes to realize that you've just made a BIG mistake like typing rm -rf * in the wrong directory.

Seen in Elizabeth P. Crowe's book, "The Electronic Traveller."

ohnosecond

(OH NO! SECOND) The fraction of a second it takes to realize you just made a big mistake on the computer. For example, clicking "No" when prompted to save the document you spent all day composing. Or, accidentally clicking "Send" on the e-mail you typed to vent your frustration. See undo send.
