Founded in 2004, OPPO introduced its mobile phone line in 2008 and Blu-ray players in 2010. Achieving acclaim from audiophiles as a high-end, yet affordable, Blu-ray player, the BDP-93 was followed by a line of machines that continued the tradition. In 2018, OPPO stopped all production of its products, while promising tech support for the foreseeable future.
