(inorganic chemistry)
One of the possible salts of orthophosphoric acid; the general formula is M3PO4, where M may be potassium as in potassium orthophosphate, K3PO4.

Rising applications across the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries are expected to lead the expansion of the are ferric orthophosphate market over the next couple of years.
[sup.31]P NMR spectra showed the presence of orthophosphate, pyrophosphate, phosphate monoesters, and diesters, while phosphonates and polyphosphates were not detected in any of the NaOH-EDTA crop residue extracts (Figures 1, 2, and 3).
A tendency of accumulation also occurred for orthophosphate (maximum levels above 10 mg [L.sup.-1]).
These conditions can explain the high orthophosphate concentration in the river (on average 185.6 [micro]g [L.sup.-1]).
The most intense peak in the solution [sup.31]P NMR spectrum of each soil was due to orthophosphate (5.67-5.69 ppm; see Supplementary material fig S1 for full NMR spectra).

The PCA indicated that [BMWP.sup.THAI], [ASPT.sup.THAI], Shannon and Simpson diversity index in hot dry season were related with alkalinity, total dissolved solids and electrical conductivity while FBI was related with ammonia-nitrogen and orthophosphate. The [BMWP.sup.THAI], Shannon and Simpson diversity index in cold-dry season were related with dissolved oxygen and pH while FBI was related with water temperature, ammonia-nitrogen and turbidity.

After furnishing more importance to the literature, it was concluded that since one impurity specifically 2-(1-ethyl-methyl)pentanoic acid is a structural isomer of the drug component (valproic acid), the 5 mM ammonium dihydrogen orthophosphate with pH = 3.0 has given the maximum resolution with acetonitrile as organic component at isocratic elution, 55: 45, v/v.
