In the same small zone in the Cumbres lugar of the Ojuela mine which produced the claringbullite, a few specimens of tenorite pseudomoiphs after paramelaconite were found as microcrystals, as well as brochantite.
In fact, Foote had originally acquired both of the two known paramelaconite specimens, had sold them both to Bement, and both later went to the American Museum; but the Museum subsequently traded one of them to the Smithsonian.
