peak amplitude; C, E and S represent the amount in phr of carbon black, eggshells and silica in the composite, respectively
In this paper, peak to
peak amplitude of time-domain waveform is used as a parameter to measure the damage.

peak amplitude distribution over the whole monitoring period.
To describe nonsolitonic pulses, we break the link between
peak amplitude and inverse duration by introducing an amplitude scaling parameter M.
where [H.sub.i] means the
peak amplitude, [N.sub.i] means the peak time position, and [W.sub.i] means the half-width of each Gaussian wave, as shown in Figure 1.
The PEC A-scan response can be obtained and then the
peak amplitude can be extracted.
Distinct
peak amplitudes of HVSRs for the stations located on the Baltic Shield, the southern slope of the Baltic Shield and the sedimentary cover of the northwestern part of East European Platform were revealed.
This algorithm includes signal processing operations, positive peak detection and
peak amplitude assessment.
To detect the onset and offset time of each swallowing event, we considered 10% of the
peak amplitude as a threshold level.
Vertical cursors were placed on the onset and offset of the swallow sound for each task as shown in Figure 3 and the outcome measurements such as maximum
peak amplitude ([micro]V) and total time duration (msec) were measured.
The circuit in [9] used traditional analog envelop detector for gain adjustment, so it can only realize simple
peak amplitude control and can not be used in high-resolution multifrequency input condition.
It can be seen that relative velocity feedback can also reduce the resonance
peak amplitude of the vibration system.
