Ana (Radulescu) Conea (1922-1977) is another prodigious researcher whose scientific work (90 papers) and didactic activity represent an important contribution to the development of Romanian pedogeography. The results obtained in the research of the complex distribution of soils, the present relief forms developed in the scroll and flood plains, and the correlation between the soil cover and the relief characteristics of different regions of this country are remarkable.
