A bondstone that extends completely through a masonry wall and is exposed on each side of the wall.

perpend, perpend stone

A rectangular stone set with its longest dimensions perpendicular to the face of a masonry wall; extends through the entire thickness of the wall so that it is exposed on both faces of the wall.
