Phlyctena
(1) A circumscribed flat cavity that is filled with a turbid fluid and is found on the skin or on a mucous membrane. The phlyctena develops acutely as the initial manifestation of pyoderma.
(2) A nodule that forms on the conjunctiva or in the superficial layers of the cornea usually as an allergic reaction to tuberculosis.
