Figure 7 shows 3D

polar plots at all the three resonance frequencies of single element MTM antenna.

A further processing, based on the synchronization of radar and navigation units, is required to obtain the

polar plot (Figure 15).

Polar plot analysis in 77 data pairs outside the 10% exclusion zone showed an angular bias of-12[degrees].

Students are introduced to the astronomical definitions of altitude (elevation in degrees above the horizon) and azimuth (compass bearings) and use these to construct

polar plots. Students could model and make predictions about the expected solar UV irradiance based on the elevation of the Sun and based on a study of previous measurements in given environments.

At each instant, the combined signal has a phase and a magnitude associated with it as shown on the

polar plot in Figure 2.

The antenna radiation pattern is a

polar plot of antenna gain vs.

Figure 7 is a

polar plot taken at 21 GHz near the center of the lower mm-wave frequency band.

The normalized gain of 3D radiation pattern and measured 2D

polar plots are shown in Figures 3(a) and 3(b) for the proposed frequencies of 28 GHz and 38 GHz.
